What Rollune is

Rollune is a tabletop RPG companion app for iPhone, iPad and Android. It brings together four tools that game nights usually spread across paper, websites and separate apps:

  • Dice roller: d2 to d100 and custom dice, modifiers, advantage and keep/drop, multi-rolls and history.
  • Character tracker: species, class, subclass, level, background and ability scores, linked to the dice.
  • Roll presets: named rolls with their dice, mode, modifier and stat.
  • Soundboard: music, layered ambience and sound effects with background playback.

Theme packs restyle dice, screens and sounds for different kinds of campaigns. Three interface modes (Advanced, Essential and Soundboard) fit the app to players who want everything, players who just want to roll, and GMs running audio.

Principles

  • Made for in-person play. Big targets, one-hand use, readable at arm's length.
  • Offline first. Your characters, presets and built-in sounds live on your device.
  • System-friendly. Any game with polyhedral dice works, from D&D 5e to Call of Cthulhu to homebrew.
  • Fair dice. Uniform random rolls, with every result visible, including dropped dice.
