Where Foundry shines
Foundry is a favorite for GMs who love control: a one-time license, your own hosting, rich automation, hundreds of community modules and official system implementations. For long online campaigns, or for a TV-on-the-table setup, it can do almost anything.
Where Rollune shines
Rollune asks for nothing before you play: no license server, no host, no modules. You open it and roll. It's designed for touch, with big targets you can hit one-handed and text readable across the table.
Because it's a phone app, every player can have their own copy, with dice, characters, presets and sound on one screen. Foundry is usually the GM's machine; Rollune is in everyone's pocket, and it works offline by default.
